When cleaning up moldings (like V-grooves or roundovers) with sandpaper, the problem is getting the sandpaper to conform to the moldings profile. So I needed to find a way to hold the sandpaper to match the shape. So I made this sanding jig.
We used a bandsaw to remove the bulk of the notches for this ladder. The detail and finish work was done with a small adze. Other woods would work including sections of logs.
